As an attempt to take an active role in the construction of the e-learning community, the Regional Information Technology & Software Engineering Center "RITSEC"
RITSEC launched the Global Campus initiative. RITSEC is a regional non-profit organization that provides technical, professional, and developmental services in the area of information technology to organizations on the national, regional and international level.
RITSEC was established in January 1992 jointly with the United Nations Development Program - UNDP and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development - AFESD and hosted by the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center - IDSC.
